Down to You by M. Leighton

“His eyes meet mine and one brow rises in that holy mother of hell-sexy way, then he mutters, "You've got one chance to make my mouth water.”

“I pull away to speak, but he puts his finger over my lips. "Shhh, just let me love you, okay? Don't think. Just feel.”

Oh Cash and Nash, Nash and Cash.. Nash Cash, Cash Nash.... Hm? Oh sorry, I got a little lost in thought there.  Fan and swoon, fan and swoon.

Down to You had me Hooked from the first chapter and I finished it within a few hours.

Ya, that good.

The book follows as Olivia goes through a gamut of emotions trying to figure out what and who is best for her, a decision I wouldn't envy since Nash and Cash are both sex on a stick and successful to boot. The story flowed really well, the characters were entertaining and there was humor, which is always a plus. It was a fun, hot and steamy mix of romance, angst and intrigue.

Center Stage Author - Molly McAdams

I am totally psyched and completely honored to be featuring Molly McAdams as my very first author to take center stage!

“One of these days Princess, I promise you.”

I turned to scowl at him once more, “I would never be desperate enough to want you.” Okay that was a lie; my breaths were already quickening just feeling his sculpted body pressed against mine.

His smile was slow and sexy, “We'll see." -- Chase and Harper

Warm, steamy, edgy, pissed off, elated, sad, swoony, inconsolable, happy, like throwing my kindle across the room, teary, appreciative.

This book will have you feeling all these things and more. Then once you are able to take a breath - and trust me, you may need a few days - you will be very glad you Took a Chance (*snort* sorry, I couldn't help myself)  and climbed on the crazy roller coaster ride.

The story was a wonderful blend of sweet, steam and angst that flowed so smoothly it didn't allow for a boring moment. The characters were vibrantly portrayed and so well written that you could feel down to your bones all of their highs and lows. I fell in love (and lust) right along with Harper and wanted to hug her tight when things got rough.

The only real issue I had was that I wished we could have gotten to know Chase better but then I found out that Molly planned on sharing the story from Chases POV (Mar 2013!) Smart girl!

This is a book I Will read again and I enthusiastically recommend to anyone that will listen. Just don't forget to strap in, throw your arms up in the air, scream til you're hoarse and enjoy every rush, dip, flip, twist and turn. Also, don't forget a fresh box of tissues.. and vodka.. and chocolate.. trust me on this one.

Book In The Spotlight - White Trash Beautiful by Teresa Mummert

I have chosen the lovely Teresa Mummert's brand spankin' new book White Trash Beautiful (currently ranked #1 at barnesnnoble.com!!) to break my Spotlight cherry, hopefully she'll be gentle.

“That’ll kill ya, you know.” A deep voice called from in front of me. My eyes shot open. A man in worn out dark wash jeans and a form fitting dark grey t-shirt that said ‘I’m with the band’ stood in front of me, motorcycle helmet in hand. His head was cocked to the side with a half grin playing across his lips. His hair was dark and unruly, but something told me he took time to make it look so effortless. His arms had elaborate tattoos to the wrists.
“Not fast enough.” I rolled my eyes and took another drag. He laughed as he ran over his hair from back to front and nodded his head, turning to enter the diner through the front door. He stopped for a moment, his back to me like he had something to say, but didn’t. He disappeared inside without a backward glance. At least my shitty life was entertainment for someone else." -- Tucker and Cassidy

I've been a fan of Teresa ever since I picked up Honor Thy Teacher and couldn't put it down til I read the very last word. This book did not disappoint. It is a bit different from what her other books but just as fantastic. Cassie is a strong character even if she doesn't feel she is.  Feeling stuck in a situation she is not happy in she remains determined to escape and make her life better. I can definitely relate and it made me connect with her even more.

I was entranced with the story from the get go and fully engaged in finding out more about the characters and just like with her first book I couldn't put it down. The romance was sweet with plenty of steam and the secondary characters were so well written you are just dying to know more about them. Luckily we will be getting more as Teresa intends to continue the story of Cassie and Tucker and we will get to find out more about the twins (you'll see *wink*).

I most definitely recommend this book. Why are you still here? Go, buy it, Read!!
