"Falling in love is easy, letting that love go, is hard. But your heart will always have the right answer. You just have to listen to it and figure out what it's telling you."
When I’m reading a new book, I feel like I need to love at least one of the characters. I didn’t feel it In Bound Together. Layla was insensitive, whiny and immature. I had a hard time empathizing with her. It was a love triangle, so two sexy guys to choose from. Oliver was the cliché rockstar. Jared was the cliché possessive millionaire. I know this is the popular story type right now. Everyone loves a good angsty love triangle. But this one just wasn’t my cup of tea.
Layla moves away from home for college, and meets 2 stunning men. One rocker, one rich business man- very 50ish. And it’s over 600 pages of a young girl not being able to make up her mind. Ollie was the only character I enjoyed. He was sexy, sweet, and loved Layla completely, but it still wasn’t enough to redeem the story. I wanted to love this book, it has an amazing cover, great story basis and hot sex scenes. Jared had a kinky tie-me-up side to him, and our rocker Ollie had a sweet-lover side, that I thoroughly drooled over. This is a story that will be appealing to a large crowd, but there's more sex than story, and I needed more than steamy hookups and a cliffhanger after investing so much time into a book.If you're looking for a sexy read with 2 hotties, this would be a good book for you.
