Betty is a
dominatrix at a club called Dolls and Doms. Alistair is a movie star and is in
all the gossip mags and engaged to a Hollywood starlet. His bachelor party is
at the club, where he and Betty meet. All is not as it seems that night, and we
are able to watch a love story unfold. And of course, lots of naughtiness
ensues.
When
Alastair’s engagement falls apart, we see Betty get thrown into the spotlight,
which is the worst place for her to be. She has been in hiding for quite some
time, and needs help to get out of her troubles. Alastair and Betty conspire a
plan, and we get to watch them get out of trouble, and hopefully find love;)
I loved this
story. I was not sure what to expect when I signed up to read this story, I did
not follow the blog, and have not been much into the BDSM genre, they seem to
feel very 50’ish. This was so different, and special. We are given impressions
of two characters that are so different from who they truly are. Black Betty is
hiding behind whips and chains, and Alastair is hiding behind his bad boy
persona. I highly recommend this novella. I hope to see more soon from Kelli
Maine. I would love to see a full sized novel. Hint hint ;)
